In the face of global warming and climate change that is shaking the world today, carbon credits, also known as carbon credits, are a mechanism used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They function as a market tool based on compensation for reducing or avoiding carbon emissions.
In general, a carbon credit represents one metric ton of CO2 that has been captured or removed from the atmosphere through verifiable and certified emission reduction projects.
In this instance and as subsidiaries of several North American, European and Russian companies, FINCASTOIL is promoting the design, execution and commercialization of projects that use this mechanism of carbon credits, in terms of protection of renewable resources, the development of reforestation projects and the generation of large blocks of biomass, which effectively allow the net reduction of carbon emissions.
In this perspective, we encourage communities and institutional entities to access this mechanism of carbon bonds, which through international certification processes, allow to deepen in the global strategy of effective reduction of carbon emissions and also in return the communities and entities subject to this type of project, may have financial resources, allowing them to become protectors of these valuable sources of natural resources aimed at mitigating global warming and climate change.
